Toronto, ON –March 5, 2020–BroadGrain Commodities was recognized for overall business performance and sustained growth with the prestigious Canada’s Best Managed Companies designation. The 2020 Best Managed program award winners are amongst the best-in-class of Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $25million demonstrating investment in talent and technology, innovation in a competitive environment, and an increased focus on global competition. Now in its 27thyear, Canada’s Best Managed Companies remains one of the country’s leading business awards programs recognizing Canadian-owned and managed companies for innovative, world-class business practices. Every year, hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates the calibre of their management abilities and practices.

BroadGrain Commodities Inc. is a privately owned Canadian corporation focused on domestic Canadian grain handling and international grain trading with annual revenues exceeding $800 million dollars and annual volume over 1.8 million metric tonnes. “Throughout the program’s 27-year history, thousands of private companies have competed for this designation,” said Peter Brown, Partner, Deloitte Private and Co-Leader, Canada’s Best Managed Companies program. “This year’s winners have proven that they are continually and deliberately pushing boundaries; they are competitive about their place on the world stage.
